Oi Scrooge! You trying to scare contributors away again ;-)

The ghost of Easters past

Suppose what I mean is what about a little sensitivity/self-censoring when slamming someone's ability or otherwise to take pictures? I personally don't give a schitenfreud what people say about my own contributions, but I'd think twice before ascribing that attitude to others when commenting.

Ye gods this is tiresome, I wasn't going to say anything either...yet when someone feels good about seeing/experiencing something - is it necessary to point out that they actually misguided in their appreciation?

S'pose judge not lest ye be judged lest round it goes (see this post for example), rassssp, bah, arse to this where's me cake/eggs/chocolate bla bla bla...

Nothing personal, just attacking the post not the poster etc

deRide On!

Not at all! No scaring here, but if someone says they think something is good, then surely I can contradict them if I think differently.

Everyone has their own tastes in what they see in a photo ....

Brightness and graininess are effects that you choose because that's how YOU want the image to look. You may like it, you may love it, but not everyone has to and you have to respect the views of others. The composition of that image is very good, I just don't like the effects that's all.

There's no excuse for bad cropping though :-)
