It's worth a trip to Hoy if only for the coastal walk going past the Old Man , one if the best in the UK imho .Watch out for the bonxies though . And there is always the Dwarfie Stane too .
Them big brown bonxies are buggers ain't they, mind you, you almost have to admire their aerial intimidation tactics. Dive bombing gannets into sicking-up their catch. I once ran into some Arctic skuas on Fetlar, them buggers are fearless and have sharp beaks.
