Orkney is pretty flat, however it is very windy! I have cycled all over it and can safely say that this was the best way to see this luvly place!
You will luv Orkney dude. One of the few places I would like to live if I were rich. Enjoy yer trip.

Gah! I'm sooooo envious - we booked to go last year but had to cancel at the last moment.....I will definitely go next year though.

Can we have a long, detailed report upon your return. please?

cheers Charlie- sounds fab, riding into the wind makes for hard work, so I shall try and avoid it!

I think we're going to want to live there too... I have a weird feeling about it!

Definitely going to take the bikes now!
