He went ahead and stabilised the dunes by planting marram grass, even though he still hadn't finished getting permission or consulting with locals and the RSPB, I read, Drewboy.

I imagine someone in the SNP party up there has a brother in law or something who will be ideally placed when they decide they need to improve the infrastructure to cope with increased traffic, thats what we'd expect down here in Edinburgh. If its anything like here too, it will all run horrendously over budget using taxpayers money. I'm all for scottish nationalism, but not when its just window dressing for a gravy train for the high and mighty. My idea of nationalism would have been insisting the new parliament be designed by a Scot, for instance.

I saw something about the Jack Nicklaus site, he's going to be saving a marvelous building in that old hotel, when it would be cheaper to build from scratch, huh?

I left the SNP over this controversy as did many others. They say it would bring work to the area but most of what I've read suggest that all the important stuff would be done by Americans qualified in the various fields. As for the maram grass, that simply goes against nature the dunes forever change and forever change they should. Anyway how many golf courses do we need up here Newmachar, Oldmeldrum (Grenago Stone is here), Royal Aberdeen needs modernised, Stonehaven. Remember we have three of the so-called best links courses at Nairn Dunbar, Royal Dornoch and Cruden Bay. He could have spent money modernising them but no he has to destroy a place of natural and historic interest. Even a planned wind farm in the North Sea has been shelved thanks to this guy. Trump, no thanks!

But loads of respect to you!

(p.s. Kintore Golf Club has a burial cairn on it's course which they look after.)
