Thats the usual up here, Sahara for us.

Have fun, it is a fabulous place but I would rather go in summer (we had lovely weather and sat outside our B&B until midnight, the night sky still light enough to read by, in the shadow of Dunnideer. Bloody marvellous!) than in January!

Don't worry about going to Aberdeenshire at this time of year! We went for a few days in mid december a couple of years back. It was a bit nippy I'll grant you that, but so long as you get up with the light you can still squeeze in loads of stuff.

I think we saw 19 circles, 2 barrows and a souterrain in the 3 days we had.
