You will have a wonderful time. I was up in the West Highlands the week of the floods and it was warm and sunny up there. It really did feel like a different country as all the signs were in Gaelic and English. Glen Nevis was spectacular, the deep still lochs were wonderful. Discovered the Island of Seil which was a blue-a-blue-sky-day. Travelled the length of Mull for a trip to Iona and spotted at least two solitary standing stones just off the single track road. Scotland is very much worth the time and effort of getting up there.
