It doesn't appear in the usual places, so name it yourself!

"The Dunfallandy Stone" sounds like a good name to me ;)

Besides, names can be changed if a local name pops up later - plus, you'll be amazed at the resourcefulness of TMAers, able to dig up references to all sorts of old stuff.

Um, am I being thick? What's wrong with calling it the Ringing Stone? OK, there are 3 different sites on TMA already called that - but there are loads like that - Hoarstones for example).

When you google Gairnshiel Ringing Stone you get a few hits. Why not call it that?

Or as the nearest farm is Richarkarie, what about the Richarkarie Ringing Stone? As someone said, it can always be changed if a more common name for it turns up.
