I notice they've routed the road in between (or through?) some standing stones and a stone circle. Presumably it will avoid both - I hope so, anyway!

Has anyone been following this closely who could enlighten me? (I haven't been).

Incidentally, a look at Google Earth suggests that the affected site is Tyrebagger. Will have to make sure I go there before they wreck it. :(
