Council leaflets

close

I don't know if anyone's seen these, but there is a reasonably good series of leaflets published by Aberdeenshire and Moray councils which covers most of the major ancient sites - Nine Stanes, Tap O'Noth, Culsh Souterrain etc. I managed to get 17 of the set (presumably of 20) from the Union St tourist information office in Aberdeen. Still hunting the other three.

To be honest, they would be much better presented as a small book for a couple of quid rather than a huge set of free leaflets, but I guess if they do it this way, it could encourage people to visit individual sites more. Anyway, the point of the post was to let people know that these are available, you might have to ask for them though :)

They are quite good aren't they? Especially for free. You might also look out for the glossy colour 'Stone Circle Trail' leaflet which replaces the old one, and more good info can be found on ACC's website: http://murl.se/13721

What ones have you got Taras? I have the 1st, 5th, 7th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 15th, 16th and 19th leaflets. If you're missing any of those, I can scan & mail them to you.

Chris.
