difficult to tell from that distance, but it looks like it could be the remains of a broch perhaps. do you have a rough grid reference, or the name of a nearby farm? then I'll see what I can dig up

Sorry Andy, all I had was the road atlas and there was nothing marked on it. I need to ask Santa for a GPS, don't I ??

At an absolute guess from Multimap it's in this general area, Kilphedir, although I don't recall any of the placenames.
