Know whatcha mean, but there're quite a few(!) where the ring cairn's no longer evident anyway....

But then, at the risk of arguing with meself, I spose that's a bit like saying that they should knock down a few of the stomes & remove a flanker!!! :^D

(Oh, and dig a quarry next to it.)

Couldn't have put it better myself :-)

On the quarry point, the good news is that the quarry at Tomnaverie is currently being filled in. The circle stone which had fallen into the quarry was rescued and used in the restoration.
