The larger ones reminded me of the large dish-marking at Robin Hood's Stride but they were a bit scruffy. The genuine cup marks I've seen have all been quite neat and properly hollowed out. These had raised bottoms - almost like they hadn't been finished.

Emma , I wasn't sure from the pics but some did look like bosses , ,if that is the case , you do get what is in effect a ring (more rarely two rings )with a central boss but rarely in open air situations they are sometimes found in association with cists .e.g.

Well, to my eye, in the third photo from the left, they look like little Bowl Barrows with a surrounding ditch! Would that be right Emma? Dunno what it means though.
