I've never been, but looking quickly on a map and here on TMA, it looks as if there's plenty about!

Up toward the NE from Douglas, at Laxey is King 'Orry's Grave, a little furthe ron is the Spiral Stone, and further still is Cashtal yn Ard. Those three sites alone seem to have the most posts here on TMA.

How easy the drive is, timewise, I'd have no idea I'm afraid. Doesn't look too bad though if you have most of a day to potter up the A2.

cool thanks
ill have the mod ants book with me on the day, and imegalith on the iphone (if it works, it doesnt in Anglesey) so i should be able to find a few good places. didnt want to go to far off the main roads as ill be alone. if its good i should be going back for a week later in the year. or if not a week ill deffinalty be going back in july.

On the inner roads there is no speed limit, so it's up to you how much time is spent between places, personally i'd go to King Orrys grave, but ive no idea how far it is from Douglas, have fun speeding through the hills but have a care plenty of TT racers never made it off the isle
