I'm on to the SMR as we speak.

They have confirmed that it is scheduled monument, listed as a domestic Iron Age site. They were also able to confirm there are no plans for road building that will affect the site.

This leaves the suggestion that it is being seriously eroded by a newly formed stream thanks to poor management of the woodland.
