Calendar events, including the solstices, are most certainly marked with "alignments"in the Brecon beacons generally, including the Llia valley. Just where do these rules they have to comply to come from?

Maen Llia is another example of a monument that does not reference peaks or cols at solstices .All the solstice events occur on featureless parts of the horizon .

Not from me. In fact my point was that the only "rule" is that if something is aligned in time and space that alone doesn't indicate it wasn't chance.
