Hello Kammer, if you want wow factor you want ludchurch, surely it's a million* times better than a bunch of boring lying down stones in a field. But you'll have to walk to it. Not particularly far though. And the walk is part of the fun as you don't know where you're going.

Mow cop's got a good view. And Alderley Edge is very good. They both feel important in the landscape, got an Ancientness about them.

But all these places might not be in your bit of the peak district I suppose, they're on the cheshire side are they not.
