I'd agree. Stick it on. The name obviously gives pre-xtian implication, but then it may be a re-used cross if it's in walling. If this turns out to be the case, you can always put it on the MegPortal. Plenty of good borderline xtian/pagan sites on there. Have you checked to see if it's on any old boundary lines? If so, it might be cited on some of the perambulation records. Just a thought.
