Jolly good idea

I would have definitely gone to the penrith talk if i'd known before the day, and maybe even the hexham one with a bit more notice...
I DID remember to go to the exhibition in penrith, but have to admit that i wasnt that thrilled by it. I guess i just prefer my antiquities al fresco

What kind of stuff did they have? I always get excited by the propsect of a couple of hours in a museum but have to admit I get bored pretty easily...would it have kept my interest?

hi vicster

penrith museum is absolutely titchy so i doubt it would keep anybody amused for a couple of hours. there was the usual RA from little meg etc but i think thats always there and some very tasty axes in various stages of manufacture. there was a nice photo montage that you can just see in the background on the poster here
