Do a search for Goldsworthy on here:
it's been discussed a few times. This is the guy that has done sheepfolds as art... and walls and lots of other stuff made with natural materials. There's a big thing of his near Casterton - not sure exactly as I havent seen it.
Do a google too ;)

Langdales a bit of a walk too parts of it are now fenced off so im told (not sure if this is true)
I'll be in the lakes myself sunday were going to take in the solstice at Barnscar, if your going to Ulverston circle then dont miss Barnscar out its truly mindblowing and huge! and not much of a walk once youu know where it is, i can give you directions to most places in the lakes if needed.
