Why not ask me an easy one?
Ok
1/Easy, follow Terry's directions. Just a jumble of stones now.
Not a Druid in site!
2/Now I'll trek out with you to try to find this,
First found by A.D.Passmore and not seen by anyone since 1950's. Being a respected archaeo everyone believed him.
I have found loads of stones @ Fyfield with strange markings but trying to pin point his cup marked stone seems to be a lost cause, however, I'm willing to waste an afternoon with you trying to seeking it out.
3/If weather is groovy we can take a flight over the area. From the air the side ditches show up now and then.
The stones are now behind and part of the garage at Fyfield.
Not much to see on the ground nowadays.
If we have time we can look at the site of the long gone White barrow above the Lockerdige sarcen drift (See ' Land of the Lettice Sweet Apple' for more details.)
Of course it goes without saying that I will need beer as fuel to get through the day ;)
