Stone discs are kept in the store room of Devizes museum.
There is talk of expanding the museum in the near future to show off more of the stored material.
As to the dig well IF permission is given it will be a 13 week dig starting in July this year.

I call this one a 'solar disc' and speculate that it was either rolled downhill - ceremonially - or was used to bung a holed stone, in some strange ethereal ritual ...
