Hi H-F & TSC,
I walked most of the routes across the downs at some point or other when my dog was still around but really haven't really been up there for a good couple of years now.
I always found them and and those on fyfield down the most rewarding to wander.

I was more than happy to get out there in the very early morning sunshine and have a good look around again.
