I believe that was the case Tom, at least someone else mentioned that. Dunno if it was on this forum though or another.

Brilliant, absorbing narrative, slightly biased of course in favour of crop circles ;) LS and I had our tea watching the videos on the laptop at the other end of the table.
Not wishing to get into any arguments about what the public loos should be used for, I did think it was unfair to the sheep to grumble about their continued presence and I'm sure they're not there all the year round but maybe there was a point there, people will not sit down with all that stuff around...

What of course is underlined, apart from the hypocrisy of who makes money, and how they make it through 'selling' Avebury stone circle, is the originality of the argument. Utopia does'nt exist so we all have to live with whats on offer; did like that bit about the public/private carparks, though in fairness to NT they have to make some money from the punters...

Does anybody know if the NT have to pay to have the sheep there?

Just watched episodes 1, 2 and part of 3 ... had to stop there as its midnight and I have a busy day tomorrow. You used the word xenaphobic a few times to describe the people who objected to the Croppie cafe - a bit extreme don't you think. From what I heard you seem to be saying crop circles have an equal status in terms of interest and importance to the Avebury Stone Circle. This is nonsense really as Avebury stone circle is 4,500 years old while crop circles are what? A matter of hours, days old before Irate Farmer comes along and cuts them out to stop more people damaging the rest of the crops.
