I believe that was the case Tom, at least someone else mentioned that. Dunno if it was on this forum though or another.

I believe some people wanted to open a Crop Circle cafe; planning permission was refused so the NT went for it.

I'm glad the Croppie Cafe didn't go ahead as I have both feet placed firmly in the camp that believes crop circles are man made - probably on commission from various tour companies.
