That's a lovely photo moss. I like it when I've been up the tor and seen the water sparkling across the fields. It's not hard to imagine the whole area surrounded by water and king arthur being rowed along (or something).

Your comment Pete reminded me of the (Ure - oh no I see it's not the ure. Hmm. Well it's one of those rivers, winterbournes, that when it flows it is an omen of something terrible. I'm sure I'd put some folklore up about it but maybe it's been removed (but I'm sure it was about somethign that JC had in his book).
