Hi, Ishmael,
I think you'll find that the more rareified (sp?) a title, the more reduced the audience, and thus the greater price: sadly, for the majority of those of us on this board, that means that our more "interested party" status is isolated by our inability to have our organisation/work fund purchase for us or write the purchase off against tax. I would be more tempted by this title than say "Malta Before History" (see my earlier thread) at £95 - there are some recognised "names" here and a good dose of facts it seems (thanks for the heads up, VBB). ;-)

Pilgrim

"Stonehenge In Its Landscape" by RMJ Cleal, KE Walker, and R Montague, ISBN 1850746052. Can't remember what it cost, but it was something like £75. Complete excavation reports and pics of all the Stonehenge excavations. Still creaming my pants. Some may say too expensive, but I think money well spent. There was a similar tome based on Avebury - "Avebury Reconsidered"? a few years ago. Didn't get my clammy little paws on that, but I heard it was a similar price. Depends how interested you are in a particular site I suppose.
