You say: 'Some of the things you write have another side to them, some of the things you write are not completely true and some of the things you write are out of date.'

Everything can be seen from many different ways. The Avebury Journal is - clearly - HA's view. Most of it is pretty 'vanilla' and not confrontational. It aims to make observations and comments from an HA point-of-view. If you have another view you would like to put across, please email me and I'll ask the editorial team to look at it.

I would be curious to know what items you consider to have 'another side'. I would be very curious to know what items 'are not completely true' but I'm not interested in the 'out-of-date' items. The Avebury Journal is a 'blog' and news items go out of date. Just like my wardrobe. I've learned to accept it.

If any of the organisations that care for the monuments would like to make comments on any of content in TAJ, then they should email [email protected]

I assumed from what was written in TAJ blogs that you'd contacted "official organisations" concerned for their views on certain of the "problems" you highlight?? There might be another side to your stories?

As for out-of-date items, perhaps an update could be posted later to keep people informed and to show that some solutions are found?

My original post resulted from reading the Blogs and was not meant as confrontational (its timing was wrong by me!). I realise TAJ is from a HA viewpoint, but you're not the only ones who care about the monuments, but thats how it comes across.

Well Jane they say you can't please all the people all of the time. But it does seem that some people you can't please any of the time. Oh yes of course we're all entitled to our opinions but the world would be just great if everybody insisted on taking issue with everything instead of focusing on the big things. Oh whatever. I think the pages look very nice and it's interesting to have up to date on the spot photos of things that aren't pretty. I'm sure most people would agree.
