Thanks Roy - yeh it was a great couple of days. I'm going back there again soon to continue, such a rich county for sites.

@Ocifant - my mistake from my field notes, yes it was standing stones, not a circle. Cheers for the tips for Fernacre, I'll get there eventually!

Ok, for standing stones west of Merry Maidens, you've got a good selection. There's Gun Rith just across the road, then the two at Boscawen Ros to start, not too far away but I had to cross a very muddy ploughed field to get to them when I last visited.

Then there's the Treverven stone. My fieldnotes on access have been deleted, but the photos remain here.

Further afield there's a stone at Sennen in the farm opposite the church, but I've not seen this the last couple of times I visited. And slightly further north, the Trevorgans Menhir just nw of St Buryan.

That should be enough to be getting on with! All those above are listed here on TMA.
