Years ago, before the scheme started i had decided that when my time was up and it was time to wave farewell to the world. I would climb Carn Galva and take my last breath, at the eastern end overlooking The Nine maidens. With the present conditions the walk through the sludge would probably finish me off before i reached my destination. I've always visited the Carn when i have returned to the UK(relocated to Aussie land in 2010). And the progressive destruction of the area saddens me greatly. It should of never been allowed, never.
