For me, Kenidjack Common and Watch Croft/Nine Maidens Downs are incomparable, wonderful places, that have managed to retain a feeling of remoteness despite the volume of tourists who skirt the periphery of each. I hope that the SPM campaign continues and that some of the idiocy imposed over the last few years can be undone, before any more damage is done to such a special place.
