I've just posted a book about Matisse to Shaun! The BFI list the twelve programmes that Tom Keating made for Ch4 but don't have copies! Shaun's broken cover and written to the Bolton News complaining that ARS is a savage caricature. No doubt the Egyptologist feels the same way. I've got permiss to look in a chapel on Halliwell Rd for a cupmarked piece of masonry. Look under my pictures for about the fourth and fifth to last. Those long-horned cattle graze scrub down to nothing - if it's needed. They're more placid than the more common breeds and seem to enjoy gazing into the distance. (I've caught them on film too).

The big question to me is what will be "re-routed" and fenced off? I can cope with cows, as long as they're not knocking down the archaeology and creating great big holes around the sites (see Men Scryfa).

Somewhere like Watch Croft, the highest point in Penwith, should be accessible, not viewed from over the barbed wire. I can see the arguments for grazing, but not at the expense of open access to the moors.
