Deep Tye was found during the building of the Goss moor dual carriage way in 2007. The work was carried out by Oxford archaelogy and students from truro college. The site was coved over by the new road so sadly there is nothing remaining of the site.

I was lucky enough to visit the site but all that was visable at the time was some different colourations in the soil.

The chap on site descibed it as being 'Hengi-form' i.e. "a prehistoric monument which resembles a henge but has a diameter of less than 20m."

There were also some 2 round house remains found which gave dates for c.250 BCE - AD 100
