Ah well - but thanks for the link. Interesting to compare the "bunker" photo of 1922 with mine of 1967. In 1922 the bunker walls were clear of sand - in mine they are buried with only the upper sections and roof showing. Weird place of shifting sands and enormous dunes, but a vast holiday camp is nearby and the beach is one of the best and longest for surfing. All will soon change and this beautiful lonely place will soon be overwhelmed, not by sand but by holiday makers.
