As an aside, the landowner has a responsibilty for 'overgrowth' it is the Local Authority ( North cornwall District Council or more probably Cornwall County Council) who are responsible for maintaining public rights of way. No excuse but sheep are great at getting oput of places. Barbed wire does help.......could be worse - up country you have to fight your way through ten foot high bramble!
