Rhiannon go back and read Larry Bull article on hills its interesting, he has included Kelston now and Winsbury. Picked (peaked?) hill, is the viewpoint you get from Knap Hill causewayed enclosure, can't remember where Tan hill is in conjunction with the Vale of Pewsey, but keep digging you might find that gold torc.....

Hello Moss,
Kelston is as I recall certainly very obvious from Stanton Drew, though I haven't been for a while and I don't know if you can see Stantonbury and its little hill or not. I suspect not(?), but maybe. It would have to be visible looking up the river valley I suppose. It's frustrating not to be able to approach these places as you think would have been 'designed' - you must have had to come from the water at Stanton Drew.

Kelston just keeps nagging doesn't it. Perhaps you should get your trowel out.
