The foxhunting vote has a high "yes" vote because the foxhunting community (mentality) communicated the message to vote that way to their "members". If all anti-foxhunters had been informed to vote "no", then the result would be different. Unfortunately, the title of the poll doesn't make people think of protesting by a "no" vote.
The foxhunters are approaching the first anniversary of their defeat, and are trying to give the impression that the majority are for it by voting en-mass for it as the top icon of England.
I think that's an action of people who know they're in the wrong, but seek to justify their actions by saying, "Well, everyone else likes it." The R*mans liked feeding people live to the lions.......now there's an idea of how to give foxhunters a taste of their own medicine.
