What a brilliant story. More evidence that our ancestors were really rather a clever and observant bunch. Frankly, the co-incidence of alignments between Thornborough and Orion (and Giza) was a 'chance too far' for me to consider it ever to have been accidental. (Not very elegantly put but you know what I mean!)

I wonder if there are other landscape features around Thornborough which can be read as part of an astronomical map?
