That's an interesting animation. There's loads of ex-gravelpit lakes down the Al that way already.

I don't know if this HA protest outside Manchester Museum is going ahead but I had a look at the exhibition gatefold leaflet and noticed that the carved stone ball that they purport to have (well described by Dorothy Marshall in the mid-70's, is not mentioned in any way, shape or form. This adds weight to my (unproven) supposition that they've actually lost or mislaid it.

I think we should be told !
