I was at a conference last week and heard a surprising fact. I can't remember what the precise statistic was, but apparently MPs receive fewer letters than one might think. If they got, say 5 letters on one particular subject, they'd really begin to listen.

Weird, ain't it? I thought MPs would be inundated with mail. Apparently not.

The pen is indeed mightier than the sword.
