I put "thornborough" into a search engine and didn't get friendsofthornborough.
Does registering on search engines happen automatically ? I have no idea.
Got lots of other sites though, including this forum ;-)

Don't think I understood that at all.

All search engines work in different ways. However, the site does initially have to be submitted by someone to the search engine. Submission works in different ways too.

I registered it on 50 plus engines - It's on Yahoo and should be on Google by now.
