I don't like to post too many personal - maybe highly prejudiced - comments here. I know that the remarks go on record and may be retrieved in the future when events and circumstances may have moved on. However ...

I've never formally met Dr Bellamy but passed him in the street once - it was in Newcastle's city centre. I looked and thought it was an unfamiliar street person. It wasn't until he had passed that I realised who it was. He just looked like a tramp. The man has done untold damage by misusing his position and undermining true conservation aims. His advertising campaign for FoMoCo should have alerted everyone.

There is little point in singling out individuals though when the direction of all human culture seems to be toward destruction and annihilation. (That was some eclipse !)
