Hmmm. No explanation for why strip lynchets would be placed on the North side of the Tor, which gets no direct sunlight. It seems to me that there's as much evidence to support the strip lynchets as there is to support the maze theory - ie zero. Given this, I think both theories should be treated with at least the same degree of credibility.

I'd always thought that this was down to maximising the land. Wasn't the Tor in the middle of marsh back then? So ALL high ground would be planted.

On the north side of one of the Loughcrew hills there are heavy plough furrows. These were planted by desperate people who needed as much food as they could grow.
