The aurora Borealis has been particularly active over the last couple of days. So much so, it's been said that it may even be visible over Southern Britain and Northern Europe (although we've had nowt yet, and the furthest South I've seen reports from are still waaay up North!)
I am still smarting with indignation at the Kirkwall taxi driver who laughed at my question "do you get to see the lights much round here" as if I were a loony old Sasinack - he was very condescending and sort of "hahhd" at me before saying he had lived there all of his life and had only seen them once. I've been following it's progress, online, and thought I'd share this find, cos a) the location is relevant to TMA, and b) It's a gorgeous photo! :) (If a little blurry)
