Well thank you very much, fitz. I'm rather pleased with it myself, particularly as there's no-one in it and no cars or coaches on the road.

I made the pano 'by hand' without the benefit of Photostitch, which I did have a poke about for but couldn't find. But it seems to work anyway.

I have been struggling for superlatives to write fieldnotes about Brodgar, actually. It's the finest stone circle/henge I have ever seen. I can't wait to start on some proper paintings of it to relive it again and again. All the paintings we saw on Orkney were amateurish romanticised shart.
