I thought it was a bit odd that I was the first to post to Druidtemple; turns out there are two sites somehow inhabiting the same coordinates ie the same place

One, http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/site/7333 , described as a passage grave, and http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/site/384 a stone circle.

Is there any way of combining these please? I'll leave someone else to decide on the description ;)

cheers

It's a Clava cairn so it has both a passage grave and a stone circle (like two of the guardianship sites at Blanuaran of Clava). Depends on what you think is its most distinguishing feature.

Nice to see you posting pics again, that was quite a shedload ;)

Particularly nice to see this:

Love the strange double penannular thing going on there.

The newer of the two Druidtemple sites has been subsumed into the original.

Perhaps someone out there with greater knowledge of Druidtemple than us Eds would be prepared to add a brief 'Miscellaneous' post to explain the problems that arise trying to categorise it.

Thanks,

TMA Ed
