I approached from the north I think, along a very overgrown old road. Had to fight my way through! Then when I reached the barns I hadn't got a clue where to go (no signs or owt) so at first I thought the stone in the middle of the first field was it. The I thought .... Naw! can't be! ... and blundered on.

That's when I wrote ...

Hang about, no... It makes no sense at all.

Do I gather you found the tomb and recognised it from my photos?

Sorry to interrogate you, but did you go past a barn (on your right) made of corrugated iron that was barely standing (the iron creaks in the wind in an un-godly fashion)? The 'footpath' is soon after this on the right. Was there barbed wire across the overgrown track? How about signage?

Enquiring minds need to know!
