You are rightly upset Kammer - looking at the map it should be open unfettered access as the right of way leads straight to the stones. The map also shows some sort of compound (although that could be for cartographic convenience) and the photo in Children and Nash shows several fence posts uncomfortably close to the stones. We considered a quick detour to Trewalter but did the Mesur-y-dorth stone and those in Mathry instead.

According to our source in the Preselis (my mother!) the landowner for Garn Turne camber closed the field off in lambing but then the access isn't formalised.
