Jane,

Thanks for the words of encouragement about my postings. I'm not a natural when it comes to these things.

I hope that you and treaclechops make it to Tre Wallter Llwyd, despite the pesky land owner. The more of us that visit the better. It <I>is</I> a good site, despite the ill treatment it's had of late. If you need any more info on getting to the chamber, let me know. One thing I wish I'd had (apart from wire cutters) was the OS Explorer map, which makes it a lot easier to see where the footpath <I>should</I> go.

Looking forward to your Pembrokeshire postings.

Earlier, I tried to check out the location of this tomb with multimap to see how far away it is from where we are staying (Newport), but multimap wasn't working for me. So may come back to you for details. Incidentally, if whilst we are in Pembs, and you fancy dropping by, treaclechops and I (and the rest of the folks - including my kids, my partner, treaclechops' mum and sister, and a couple of mates - pauses for breath!) would be thrilled to meet you.

I love putting faces to the names on this site. Such a great bunch!

Totally agree. Don't avoid any site because someone is messing around with access to it. If we all avoid such sites it'll be more power the farmers' elbow to say that 'people don't want to visit it'.
