True, but a cynic is also one who is adept at, "...practicing extreme bluntness of speech (and) given to tearing off the veil of human weaknesses."

Tearing off the veil of human weakness is something I also find myself doing quite often now (I think it stems from a feeling of impatience as the days grow shorter :-) Over Silbury however I find myself in agreement with both you and Pete - you because you have campaigned tirelessly for the <i>right</i> solution for Silbury; Pete because he just wants to see Silbury <i>fixed</i>. Is there no middle way here?
