These are national monuments or they aren't. National monuments don't do days off, and the NT should stop whoring our history for cheap stunts.
"Whoring" is a totally inappropriate word in my view, particularly when discussing cancer which effects the sexual bits of our bodies - male or female. As someone else quite rightly pointed out, our National Monuments belong to us all. This particular one was not defaced in any way and anything that raises awareness of these sensitive issues, allowing them to be discussed without embarrassment (as breast cancer now is) has to be a good thing. This is not really the place to discuss cancer or its impact. My apologies to anyone who is currently affected. These are national monuments or they aren't. National monuments don't do days off, and the NT should stop whoring our history for cheap stunts.
The cause is totally irrelevant.
Once again, am wondering why I bothered to comment here as 'he' who shouts loudest seems always to dominate.
